We’ll be giving a short presentation about DataSeer at the upcoming ISTME virtual conference, as part of the Innovation Session. We’re one of four talks about new products in academic publishing, all vying for the Peoples’ Choice Award for Most Innovative Idea – the Award will be decided by an attendee vote. The other presentations are about Nova Techset, a new tool developed by Origin Editorial, and UDig.
Our Project Lead Tim will also be participating in an On Demand session about the ‘Evolving world of Data Sharing’, alongside Isabel Mulhern of PLOS and Danielle Lowenberg of Dryad and Make Data Count. The session will be moderated by Kimberley Retzlaff of the American Water Works Association. Tim will be giving his thoughts on the internal and external pressures on journals to adopt data sharing policies, and the obstacles that journal staff will likely encounter.
